Marmozets Releases New Song “Cut Back”
British rock band Marmozets, consisting of Rebecca “Becca” Bottomley (vocals), Jack Bottomley (guitar), Josh Macintyre (drums) and Sam Macintyre (bass), released a new song “Cut Back” on April 10, 2026.
The song is the fifth single off their upcoming third studio album “CO.WAR.DICE.”, which is set to be released on May 22, 2026 via Nettwerk Music Group.
The track is their most maximalist yet, blending a main riff, an adrenaline-fueled rhythm section, and Becca Bottomley’s fiery vocals, equal parts caustic and cool.
It was written by Rebecca Anna Bottomley, Jack William Bottomley, Joshua Paul Macintyre, Samuel Aaron Macintyre, and Jonathan Paul Gilmore. Produced by Jonathan Gilmore.
The accompanying music video was directed by James Slater, who also directed their previous videos for "New York" and “A Kiss From A Mother”.
The band lead singer Becca Bottomley said of the video, “We are currently on a roof in Keighley, which is very cool that we are shooting a music video for our new single 'Cut Back'. We're glad to be doing it in our area with James Slater, again. This is like the third video we've done with him. So this is sick. We've had such a blast today. We've got blue skies and everything. So let's talk about the sunny weather. Bye.”- The new album comprises 11 tracks, produced by Jonathan Gilmore.
It is their first album in eight years, following 2018 album “Knowing What You Know Now”.
Becca Bottomley said of the album, “CO.WAR.DICE. is an album reflecting on the state of our world and a vow to ourselves to leave this world in a better place. We may never make a huge impact, but we can only try. Like any story there's a beginning middle and end and we've chosen for a happy ending.”
