  • Temples Releases New Song “Vendetta”

  • British rock band Temples, consisting of James Bagshaw (vocals/guitar), Thomas Walmsley (bass), Adam Smith (keyboards/guitar) and Rens Ottink (drums), released the second single “Vendetta” from their upcoming fifth studio album “BLISS” on April 14, 2026.

The album is set to be released on June 26, 2026 via V2 Records.
Exploring new electronic directions while staying true to their core DNA, the song stands as their most adventurous and liberated record to date.
It was written by James Edward Bagshaw, Thomas Walmsley, Adam Smith, and Rens Ottink. The accompanying music video was directed by James Bagshaw.

The band frontman James Bagshaw said of the song, “Suddenly, you had this almost Justice-Daft Punk-sounding sample that then goes into something that could be a modern take on dance music, like a David Guetta or Avicii song.”

The band added, “This euphoric track helps set the scene for our upcoming record BLISS and we can't wait to see how people move to this one as intended!”
  • The new album comprises 10 tracks, produced by Temples themselves, exploring themes of disconnection, frustration, surrender and renewal.
On the album, the band reimagines their psych-rock roots through the prism of late '90s and early 2000s dance music, embracing a more instinctive, hands-on approach.

The band said of the album, “BLISS is about pure feeling; we hope the music gives you permission to let go, move and embrace yourself.”
