DJ Seinfeld Premieres New Song “Everything U” on BBC Radio 1
Swedish electronic music producer DJ Seinfeld premiered a new song “Everything U” on BBC Radio 1's New Music Show with Sian Eleri.
The song is the fourth single off of his upcoming third studio album “If This Is It”, following “U Can't Come Home” featuring TS Graye, “Of Joy” featuring ARY, and “The Right” with Confidence Man.
The album is set to be released on June 5, 2026 via Ninja Tune.
The track was written and produced by DJ Seinfeld.
DJ Seinfeld said of the song, “I wrote 'Everything U' more or less in a couple of hours. I'm not really sure how people will react to it but it captures the nostalgia and dancefloor elements of the album. It just came impulsively.”
DJ Seinfeld told Sian Eleri about the song, “I think I wrote it in it was the fastest track that I wrote for the album. I wrote it in less than two hours, and it's probably one of my favorite ones, for sure. It used to happen more often back in the days, but nowadays, I think everything has become more professional. So I feel like I'm more inclined to spend more time with music. Just because the competition is so big that you get self conscious and insecure. So this one was a little bit of a anomaly. I felt I had an idea in my head of what I wanted to do. And just came in really, really quick.”- The new album comprises 12 tracks, featuring collaborations with TS Graye, Confidence Man, Dan Whitlam, ARY, just lil, Moyka, and SG Lewis.
It is his fist album in five years, following the 2021 album “Mirrors”.
DJ Seinfeld told Sian Eleri about the album, “I wanted to do something a little bit more like 'Mirrors' was an album that I wrote a little bit. It was it was less specific. It was during the pandemic. And nobody knew what was happening. So I didn't really feel I knew where I was, either. But this one, I felt, was more intentional in a way, like, more clear when it comes to, like, sonic identity and all these kind of things.” -
He shared on social media, “I've spent the last 4 years working, deleting, re-imagining and finally finishing up what I feel is an album that hopefully captures a bit of where I came from at the start of this project, where I've been since then, and where I am going next. The reasons it took a bit of time to get here are several, but its mostly been due to me having had too much time to doubt myself and the music, and being wary of letting it go. It's the music I'm the most proud of having written ever.”
