MAJORS Releases New Song “Bullet on a String”
Ottawa-based pop-punk band MAJORS, consisting of Justin Camarena (vocals), Rich Latour (drums), Jason Mooney (guitar), Nathan Pearce (guitar) and Jeff Britten (bass), will release their upcoming self-titled debut album on May 14, 2026, with an exclusive early release available via Bandcamp on May 7 that includes a bonus track.
From the album, the band unveiled a new song “Bullet on a String” on April 10, 2026.
Bursting with momentum and swagger, the song captures the rush of those rare, perfect days when everything clicks.
It’s an upbeat, punchy anthem driven by sharp hooks, driving guitars, and the band’s signature blend of early-2000s pop-punk energy with a playful, modern twist.
It was written by Rich Latour and Justin Camarena.
The accompanying music video was directed by Ryan Stacey and filmed over two days during the band’s November 2025 headlining tour.- The band frontman Justin Camarena said of the song, “It’s inspired by those days where your body and mind are perfectly in sync, and you feel like you can do anything—when you’re on top of the world. Everyone’s had those magic days where a relationship, or work, or a personal project is going perfectly. For us, it’s a round of golf when you’re smashing the ball a mile and can hit any target at will. Hence, ‘bullet on a string.’”
