Aleya Returns With New Song “Sapphire Skies”
British alt-metal band Aleya, consisting of Tom Evans (vocals), Sam Lawson (guitar), Mike Washington (bass) and James Wright (drums), returned with a new song “Sapphire Skies” on April 10, 2026.
The song is their first new music in over a year, following 2025 single “Spiral & Decay”.
Also, the track will appear on their upcoming sophomore EP, which is expected to be released in 2026.
The synth-laden track blends seismic guitar riffs, pounding rhythmic grooves, intense, dynamic vocals with melodic phrasing, and soaring anthemic hook-lines.
It was written by Tom Evans, Sam Lawson, Mike Washington, and James Wright.
The band recorded it with producer Dan Fox at Treehouse Studios in Derbyshire UK.
The accompanying music video was filmed by JWA Creations.
The band frontman Tom Evans said of the song, “I wrote Sapphire Skies about people that confidently spread their insidious world views for their own agenda.”- Aleya will be joining Leeds-based modern-metal band The Mechanist this month for a short run of UK tour dates.
