Teddy Swims Releases New Song “Mr. Know It All”
American singer-songwriter Teddy Swims released a brand new song “Mr. Know It All” on April 10, 2026 via Warner Records.
The song was released ahead of his mainstage Coachella performance at Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
As the first release of 2026, the track blends vintage grooves, eighties rock hook-craft, and lush modern production to build a moody sound that cuts deep.
It was written by Julian Bunetta, Jaten Dimsdale, Ed Drewett, Joshua Coleman, and Alexander Izquierdo. Produced by Julian Bunetta, Ammo, and John Ryan.
The track features Julian Bunetta on bass, drums, and keyboards, Ammo on drums, John Ryan on drums, and Ed Drewett on background vocals.
The accompanying music video was directed by Neve Abcari.- Teddy Swims said of the song, “'Mr. Know It All' explores the idea that love can become a self-fulfilling contradiction. When you believe you already know how it ends, you protect yourself by holding back and that distance becomes the reason it fails. But when you try to fight that fate and control every outcome, you can end up suffocating the connection. It's about how both fear and control can quietly undo something real. It's essentially a spin on Robert K. Merton's concepts of self-destroying prophecy versus the self-fulfilling prophecy also known as 'The Prophet's Dilemma'.”
