  • The Chainsmokers & Oaks Team Up for New Song “Echo”

  • American DJ duo The Chainsmokers, consisting of Drew Taggart and Alex Pall, teamed up with Swedish singer-songwriter Winona Oak to release a new song “Echo” on April 10, 2026.

This marks the second collaboration between The Chainsmokers and Winona Oak since the 2018 song “Hope”.
For The Chainsmokers, the song is the follow-up to the collaborative single “ALL THE TIME” with John Summit and Ilsey, which was released last month.
Meanwhile, for Winona Oak, the song is the fourth collaborative single of 2026, following “Not A Plac” with Timmy Trumpet.
The track was Mads Bjørsvik Songve, Håvard Sundland, Andrew Taggart, Alex Pall, Axel Lindroth, Winona Oak, Cody Garrett Nadeau, and Fredrik Bertheussen Bruras. Produced by The Chainsmokers.

The Chainsmokers said of the song, “This release truly feels like a release. After 14 years of making dance music together, we've watched trends rise and fall but staying connected to the feeling that started it all is the real challenge. This record brought that back for us. There's a nostalgia in it that reminds me of falling in love with dance music for the first time. The euphoria of those early discoveries, those formative nights that felt like the beginning of everything. Reconnecting with Winona Oak made it even more special. There's a natural chemistry there that picked up right where we left off, and you can feel that emotion in the record. This one just hits different for us, and we couldn't be more excited to finally share it.”
  • Winona Oak said, “'Echo' was born in the most magical environment in Norway with some of my favorite people and co-writers Håvard Sundland, Axel Lindroth, Mads Bjørsvik Songve, Fred Well. Hearing The Chainsmokers production for the first time was incredible - they truly elevated it to another level. It feels beautiful and full circle working with The Chainsmokers again after our collaboration eight years ago on 'Hope.' This song captures that overwhelming moment of falling - when everything feels electric, and there’s no way to escape the feeling, no matter how hard you try. Being part of this song means a lot to me; it’s one of those rare records that just feels truly special.”
