  • The Falls Returns With New Song “Open Fire”

  • Manchester-based indie-rock The Falls, consisting of Harrison Sharp (vocals), Joel Quirk (guitar), Ren Smith (bass) and Tom Chester (drums), returned with a new song “Open Fire” on April 10, 2026 via Revo Pro.

The song is the first single of 2026 and is the first release under their new label Revo Pro.
The track blends explosive drums, melodic bass lines, frenetic guitars and urgent vocals, musically and lyrically encapsulating a loss of control.
It was written by Harrison Sharp, Ren Smith, Joel Quirk, Ren Smith, and Tom Chester. Produced by Luke Owens.

The band frontman Harrison Sharp said of the song, “We’ve been itching to record Open Fire for a little while as it's a definite fan favourite live. It’s short, sharp, super catchy and encapsulates our current sound perfectly. The song carries a fiery energy that mirrors the sense of everything falling apart, where control feels just out of reach. We used 'Open Fire' as a metaphor describing being ‘shot at’ and to translate that emotion into something physical, symbolising danger, disorder, and the importance of recognising when to pause, step back and to look after ourselves.”
  • The band said of a record deal with Revo Pro, “We are over the moon to announce we've signed our first ever record deal with Revo Pro. This year's going to be a huge one for us and we've got loads of big announcements coming soon so watch this space!”
