  • New Constellations Releases New Song “Waterslides”

  • Portland-based indie-pop duo New Constellations, consisting of Harlee Case (vocals) and Josh Smith (multi-instrumentalist), a new song “Waterslides” on April 3, 2026.

The song is taken from their upcoming debut album “It Comes in Waves”, which is set to be released on May 15, 2026 via Nettwerk.
The track moves with a soft, stretched pace that captures the feeling of being pulled into something unknown but impossible to resist.
It was written by Harlee Pierpoint Case and Joshua Ryan Smith. Produced by Joshua Smith and Cameron Spies.
The accompanying music video was directed by Cameron Browne. The video is a sequel to the previous video for “Dandelion”, which was released back in February.

The band lead singer Harlee Case said of the song, “Dandelion is a tender, introspective song about love tested by doubt and emotional distance. The quiet push and pull between trust and self-protection. It captures the fragile moment when two people consciously separate yet remain deeply connected, holding space for vulnerability, longing, and the hope that love can still find its way back.”
  • The debut album comprises 13 tracks, featuring a guest appearance from Night Heron, produced by Joshua Smith, Tyler Blake, Cameron Spies, and Michael McGarity.
The record is a document of growth, personal, creative, and relational, tracing the evolution of two Oregon teenagers recording songs in a childhood bedroom into one of indie pop's most emotionally resonant partnerships.
