Jobi Riccio Releases New Song “Love of the Song”

Nashville-based singer-songwriter Jobi Riccio released a new song “Love of the Song” on March 31, 2026.
The song is the fifth single off of her upcoming sophomore album “Face The Feeling”, which is set to be released on May 15, 2026 via Yep Roc Records.
Pulsing with radiant indie rock, the track looks at what it means to use surface-level distractions to avoid addressing deeper truths.
It was written and produced by Jobi Riccio, with production by Isaiah Beard, and Jesse Timm.
The track features Isaiah Beard on guitar and piano, Dominic Billet on drums, Paul Defiglia on bass, and Jesse Timm on organ.
Jobi Riccio said of the song, “'Love of the Song' was written when I first moved to Nashville and felt overwhelmed by the hustle of life in a town fueled by drinking culture, poor work/life balance, and never really turning 'off.' I was struggling to find where I fit into it all, knowing that distraction was unsustainable, but not ready to face the truth that there were bigger problems I wasn't dealing with under the surface. I'm glad I can empathize with that younger version of myself now and appreciate the growth that came from this period.”- The new album comprises 11 tracks, which Jobi Riccio recorded with longtime collaborators Isaiah Beard and Jesse Timm in Colorado and Nashville. It is her first album in three years, following the 2023 debut album “Whiplash”.
Expanding beyond the folk and country foundations of the debut album, she moves toward a more electric, indie-rock-driven sound on Face The Feeling.
Jobi Riccio said of the album, “I wanted to create a place - for myself and for others - to face the good, bad, and ugly feelings. Even when the noise of the world gets overwhelming.” -
