Megan Thee Stallion & Nickelback Team Up for Cheetos Song “Pickle's Back”
American rapper Megan Thee Stallion and Canadian rock band Nickelback teamed up to reimagine Nickelback's “How You Remind Me” as “Pickle's Back” for a music video promoting Cheetos' “Flamin' Hot Dill Pickle” snacks.
The original version of “How You Remind Me” was released by Nickelback in 2001.
This remake includes new arrangements and several additional elements created by Megan Thee Stallion.
The video was directed by Dave Meyers.
Megan Thee Stallion said of the video, “It was only right for the Hot Girl Coach to team up with Cheetos to bring back the iconic, Flamin' Hot Dill Pickle flavor. Everyone knows I love to stuff pickles with Cheetos Flamin' Hot, so it's really special to now be part of the campaign to relaunch one of my favorite combinations.”- Nickelback added, “We had a blast getting to parody one of our own songs and teaming up with Megan Thee Stallion to bring it back in a totally unexpected way. Seeing how passionate fans are about Cheetos and this flavor made it even better. It’s bold, playful, and just plain fun! A 10/10 experience, would absolutely do it again.”
The band teased this project on social media on March 21, “Hey everyone! Nickelback here. We are here to announce... Oh, we can't say anything yet? So they don't know we're teaming up with, um... Can't even tell em'. Alright.” - source : YouTube
