Cody Simpson Returns With Two New Songs “Baby Blue” & “When It Comes To Loving You”
Australian singer-songwriter Cody Simpson returned with two new songs “Baby Blue” and “When It Comes To Loving You”.
The two songs mark his first new music in two years, following the 2024 single “Fly”.
“Fly” was inspired by his journey to the Olympic Games as a swimmer and was dedicated to the Australian Dolphins Olympic team.
After retiring from swimming, he moved to Los Angeles and has now made a full-fledged return to music.
Both songs were written by Cody Simpson, and Harrison Borts, who also produced them.
The accompanying music video for “Baby Blue” was directed by directed by Antony Muse and filmed in Los Angeles.
He has already worked on a new music video for “When It Comes To Loving You”, which is coming soon- Cody Simpson said of two songs, “I intended to create something that felt like the coming of spring. In my return to music, I had been experimenting in the studio for almost a year when one day I came in extremely open hearted and open-minded, sensing something vibrant and new wanted to come through. I grabbed a guitar next to my friend and producer Harrison Borts on synths, and this is where the sound that birthed ‘Baby Blue’ and ‘When It Comes to Loving You’ was born. I hope everybody enjoys listening to them as much as I enjoyed making them. I’ve been buzzing ever since!”
