  • Davina Michelle Releases New Song “Still Champagne”

  • Dutch singer-songwriter Davina Michelle has released her brand new song “Still Champagne”.

The song received its first play during BBC Radio 1's Future Pop with Maia Beth. It is her first single of 2026.
The track is accompanied by the Rebecca Weltner-directed music video.
She wrote the song with producer Sebastiaan Brouwer. The track features Sebastiaan Brouwer on guitar, Wesley Nuis on guitar, Marcus Rietveld on bass, Noah Seelmann on piano, Ton Dijkman on drums, Jasper van Rosmalen on violin, and Jonas Pap on cello.

Davina Michelle said of the song, “‘Still Champagne’ is an uplifting ode to life, written for a moment when farewell is near, yet love and gratitude take centre stage. The song consciously chooses to celebrate what has been - head held high and the glass half full.”
  • She continued, “With ‘Still Champagne’ as a metaphor, the song shows that you can still raise a toast without the bubbles: to memories, to growth, to the traces someone leaves behind. Grief is present, but carried by warmth and connection. The song moves between generations, passing on experiences, lessons, and love.”

She added, “The song frames grief not as something to drown in sorrow, but as something to honor. Raising a glass to both the joy and the mistakes that shaped a loved one’s life.”
