Jorja Smith Premieres New Song “Price Of It All” on BBC Radio 1

British singer-songwriter Jorja Smith premiered a new song “Price Of It All” on BBC Radio 1's New Music Show with Jack Saunders.
The song will appear on Riz Ahmed's upcoming TV series “Bait” soundtrack.
“Bait” is a new six-part genre-bending series that follows Shah Latif, an out-of-work British-Pakistani actor whose life begins to spiral when he lands the final audition to play the next James Bond.
The track was written by Jorja Smith, Charlie J Perry, and Michael Stafford. Produced by Charlie J Perry.
Jorja Smith told Jack Saunders about the song, “'Price Of It All' is my attempt at a Bond song. But then it didn't actually become a Bond song. But it's something even better.”- She continued, “I've always wanted to write a Bond song. I mean, like, never say never like, it still could be a possibility. But I've always wanted to write and sing one. So I was in the studio with Charlie J Perry, the producer and writer, and Michael Stafford. And we were just talking about it, and we kind of like, envision, like the Bond girl walking down to an underground bar and Bond at the table. And this is what she'd be saying to him. So this is.”
She added, “So it's part of Riz Ahmed's 'Bait', a new series. That is out real soon, and it's on one of the episodes. It's actually sick, because I was trying to write the Bond song, I didn't get the Bond song. And that kind of is a similar theme to what's going on in Riz Ahmed's 'Bait'.” - source : BBC Radio 1
