  • LANY Releases Deluxe Album “Soft 2”

  • American pop-rock band LANY, consisting of Paul Jason Klein (vocals/guitar) and Jake Clifford Goss (drums), released the deluxe edition of their sixth studio album “Soft”, titled “Soft 2” on March 13, 2026.

Alongside the release of the album, a new live video for “When Did You Stop Loving Me?” directed by Slater Goodson, from the song's debut at The GRAMMY Museum earlier this month.
The album comprises 15 tracks, including the original 10 songs and 5 new songs, produced by Tommy King and LANY.
The deluxe edition is a natural extension of the original album's themes, exploring the conflict between strength and fragility and juxtaposing literal hardness with a more metaphorical softness in relationships and self-reflection.
The album features Aaron Wing on guitar, Zane Carney on guitar, Ryan Lerman on guitar, Pino Palladino on bass, Tommy King on keyboards, Tyler Nuffer on pedal steel guitar, and Paul Cartwright on strings.
  • Back in October 2025, when the original version of the album “Soft” was released, the band lead singer Paul Jason Klein said, “I don't wish for a life of adversity, but I must acknowledge that we seem to shine brightest in our darkest hour. In the last year, I've been hit by a car, watched a wildfire damn near burn my home to the ground, and now a freak accident at the gym has left me with a broken wrist that I'm going into surgery for on Monday. It's almost as if something really good is about to happen to us. Nothing was gonna stop Jake and I from making this album and nothing in the world will ever stop us from being LANY.”

  • LANY is currently running the Soft World Tour Part One. The tour kicked off at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai, UAE, on January 23, 2026, and will conclude at OVO Arena Wembley in London on June 6, 2026. Part Two will take place in Asia and Australia, kicking off at Taipei Arena in Taipei City on September 26, 2026, and wrapping up at Riverstage in Brisbane, Australia, on November 22, 2026.
