MUNA Releases New Song “So What”

Los Angeles-based alt-pop band MUNA, consisting of Katie Gavin (vocals/guitar), Josette Maskin (lead guitar) and Naomi McPherson (guitar), released the second single called “So What” from their upcoming fourth studio album “Dancing On The Wall” on March 17, 2026.
The song is accompanied by the Dante Capone-directed music video.
It was written by Katie Gavin, Josette Maskin, and Naomi McPherson, who also produced the track.
The band said of the song, “We're at the point in our career where we've been to a lot fancy parties in beautiful rooms with important people and we know the particular sadness of realizing it doesn't make you feel better. We've learned the hard way that validation is hollow and we actually just want connection. This is a song about going to one of those parties and leaving worse off than when we got there.”- The new album is set to be released on May 8, 2026 via Saddest Factory Records/Secretly Group. It is their first album in four years, following the 2022 self titled album.
The album comprises 13 tracks, produced by Naomi McPherson.
MUNA will play a handful of shows in support of the album in Los Angeles, NYC, and London.
