Krooked Kings Releases New Song “Damage Control”
Salt Lake City-based indie-rock band Krooked Kings, consisting of Oli Martin (vocals/guitar), Paul Colgan (guitar), David Macey (keyboards), Matt Monosson (bass) and Quinn Casper (drums), will release their upcoming fourth studio album “In Another Life” on March 27, 2026.
The album comprises 10 tracks, which the band recorded with producer Yves Rothman in Los Angeles. It is their first album in two years, following the 2024 album “Shiver”.
From the album, the band unveiled the fifth single called “Damage Control” on March 13, 2026.
On the track, the band turns inward to examine the self-destructive habits that strain their closest relationships.
The song sits in the uneasy space between regret and realization, reflecting on impulsive choices, miscommunication, and the emotional fallout that follows when attempts to fix things come a little too late.
It was written by Yves Rothman, Quinn Casper, David Macey, Matt Monosson, Paul Colgan, Oliver Martin, Josh Wei, Ryan Selan, Joey Selan, and Harmony Tividad. Produced by Yves Rothman.- The band keyboard player David Macey said of the song, “'Damage Control' is a song we wrote long ago but we couldn't quite figure out what to do on the chorus. Naturally we made it as big and loud as possible and that seemed to do the trick. It's a song about getting drunk and embarrassing yourself. Simple, straightforward, rock and roll.
