  • Bruce Hornsby Releases New Song “Ecstatic” featuring Bonnie Raitt

  • American singer-songwriter and pianist Bruce Hornsby teamed up with American singer-songwriter Bonnie Raitt to release a new song “Ecstatic” on March 4, 2026.

This marks the first collaboration in 31 years between Bruce Hornsby and Bonnie Raitt, following the 1995 live version of “The Valley Road”.
The song is the second single off of his upcoming album “Indigo Park”, following “Indigo Park” released last month.
The album is set to be released on April 3, 2026 via Zappo Productions/Thirty Tigers.
The track was written and produced by Bruce Hornsby, with production by Tony Berg and Will Maclellan. The accompanying music video was filmed on-campus at Louisiana State University, featuring the LSU Lady Tigers Basketball team.
A longtime basketball player and a passionate follower of the game, Bruce Hornsby recruited members of the LSU Women's Basketball to appear in the music video.
  • Bruce Hornsby said of the song,“When my wife Kathy and I were AAU basketball parents in the early aughts, we loved the chants our fellow parents had created for the games. There were two: one was 'You fouled, you did it, raise your hand, admit it,' and the other was 'That's right, you walked, you traveled and got caught.' We loved chanting these with the other parents, and at the time I told myself I wanted to write a song sometime with those chants. 'Ecstatic' is that song, punctuated by my great old big sister in music, Bonnie Raitt, and the amazing LSU Lady Tigers basketball team, courtesy of Hall of Fame coach Kim Mulkey as another special aspect.”
