Mumford & Sons Performs “Rubber Band Man” featuring Hozier & “Here” featuring Sierra Ferrell on Saturday Night Live

British folk rock band Mumford & Sons, consisting of Marcus Mumford (lead vocals/guitar), Ted Dwane (vocals/bass) and Ben Lovett (vocals/keyboards), appeared on Saturday Night Live to perform “Rubber Band Man” and “Here”.
This marks the fourth time Mumford & Sons has performed on SNL since 2018.
Both songs are featured on their sixth studio album “Prizefighter”, which was released on February 20, 2026 via Island Records.
This time, the band performed “Rubber Band Man” with Irish singer-songwriter Hozier and “Here” with American singer-songwriter Sierra Ferrell, while American rock band The National's Aaron Dessner played guitar on both songs.
“Rubber Band Man” was released as the first single from the album last October. The band wrote the song with Aaron Dessner and American singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile.- The band lead singer Marcus Mumford said of the song, “I was in Paris, and Brandi Carlile texted me. She'd had a dream about me, and had these lyrics. She'd written a poem, I think kind of in her sleep, and it included some of the verse lyrics for 'Rubber Band Man,' and I was like, 'Can I make these into a song?' She was like, 'Yeah, that's what they're for.' I know Brandi very well, she knows me very well at this point. I think she just knew the kind of story I would like to tell.”
The original version of “Here” on the album features American singer-songwriter Chris Stapleton. It was written and produced by Mumford & Sons and Aaron Dessner - source : NBC
