Chloe Star Releases New Song “call you back”
Los Angeles-based alt-pop singer-songwriter Chloe Star released a brand new song “call you back” on February 27, 2026.
The song is the second single since the 2025 EP “Apt. 1101”, following “i didn't wanna say goodbye” released in January.
Fueled by gritty instrumentation, rousing lyricism, the song is a biting, bold, and cathartic anthem.
It was written by Chloe Star, Alan Markley, JP Clark, and Elizabeth Francesca Zaide. Produced by Alan Markley.
The track features Vin Landolfi on guitar, Avishai Rozen on drums, and Tim Lappen on bass.
Chloe Star said of the song, “‘Call You Back’ is about how this girl left me for a guy who literally looks like me. Like, the male version of me, which is honestly kind of hilarious and devastating at the same time. On the surface, we’re the same: same vibe, same clothes, and in the same scene. But the song is me pointing out the difference between looking the part and actually showing up.”- She added, “[The track] was an honor writing it with Alan Markley, JP Clark, Elizabeth Francesca Zaide !!! and the amazing musicians that fkn grooved the record Vin Landolfi, Avishai Rozen, Tim Lappen !!! and mixxxx by Eric Emery.”
