Thirty Seconds To Mars Releases New Song “Over My Head”
American rock band Thirty Seconds To Mars, consisting of Jared Leto (vocals/guitar) and Shannon Leto (drums), will release “A Beautiful Lie (20 Year Anniversary)” to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their second studio album “A Beautiful Lie” on March 27, 2026.
The album comprises 16 tracks, including the original 10 songs, two bonus tracks, three unreleased songs, and acoustic version of “Attack”.
From the 20th anniversary edition, the band released a new song “Over My Head” on February 27, 2026.
The song is the second single off of the album, following their January release “God's Eye”.
It was written by Jared Leto. Produced by Jared Leto, Shannon Leto, and Stevie Aiello.
The track features Stevie Aiello on guitar, Shannon Leto on drums, Matt Wachter on bass, and Tomo Milicevic on guitar.- The band frontman Jared Leto said of the song, “Returning to our roots. I remember this. I guess we did make some pretty dark music. I remember that. Well this is definitely a demo. That's gotta be from 2002 or something right? I like the verse a lot. I think it falls apart in the chorus. I would almost write like a new chorus for it, steal the verse.”
