Skye Newman Releases New Song “Walk”
London-based singer-songwriter Skye Newman released a brand new song “Walk” on February 27, 2026.
The song is the first single since the debut EP “SE9 Part 1”, which was released last October.
She has teased song on social media since last month.
Skye Newman co-wrote the song with British singer-songwriter Chrissi, long-time collaborators Boo and Luis Navidad.
This marks the first collaboration between Skye Newman and Chrissi.
Chrissi said, “I had the best time cowriting this one along with the gang Luis Navidad, Skye Newman, Benjy music is the best, I love you so much skye!!!”
Produced by Boo and Luis Navidad, both played on bass, guitar, and piano on the track.
Skye Newman said of the song, “This song is about taking back your power when a relationship is no longer serving you! Following on from 'out out', I put my high heels on for myself and walked away.”- She is nominated for Song of the Year and British Breakthrough Artist at The Brit Awards 2026.
The ceremony will be held at the Co-op Live arena in Manchester on February 28, 2026. - source : Apple Music
