RAYE Releases New Song “Nightingale Lane.”

Last month, British singer-songwriter RAYE announced her upcoming sophomore album “THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE.” would be released on March 27, 2026.
From the album, she unveiled a new song “Nightingale Lane.” on February 27, 2026.
The song is the second single off of the album, following “WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!” released last September.
The track reflects on her biggest heartbreak and is named after a street in South London.
She recorded it with Tom Richards on guitar, Chris Hill on bass, Tom Cawley on piano, Paul Murray on guitar, Flames Choir, and London Symphony Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios in London.
RAYE said of the song, “This song is about the greatest heartbreak I have ever known.. This song is called Nightingale Lane.”
She will perform the song at The BRIT Awards 2026 in Manchester on February 28, 2026.
She is nominated for Song of the Year with “WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!” and Best Pop Act at The BRIT Awards.- The new album comprises 17 tracks, featuring across four “seasons”.
RAYE said of the album, “Music is medicine, I've always said that. I guess I'm in the process of making medicine for myself that I can share with the world. I want us all to say to ourselves that it's going to be all right, and I'm going to have faith in the seeds that I've planted beneath the snow. I wanted to create something that is a hug, bed or soft place for that person who needs it.” -
Last year, she announced the sophomore album was delayed after her car was stolen, which included notebooks with all her new songs. But last October, she revealed that the car and the songbooks had been found.
RAYE told EE Official Big Top 40 From Global, “It was a roller-coaster journey, but what I didn't tell everyone is the police called me maybe two or three months ago, and they were like, 'We found your car.' Not only did I get it back, not one thing had been taken out of the car. All my songwriting books were there, untouched.” - source : Apple Music
