Marie Dahlstrom Returns With New Song “Frostbite”
London-based Danish singer-songwriter Marie Dahlstrom returned with a new song “Frostbite” on February 25, 2026.
It is her first solo music in three years, following the 2023 album “A Good Life”.
The song will appear on her upcoming project, which is expected to be released later this year.
On the track, she stays rooted in the soul-led intimacy that has defined her work to date, pushing further into nuance and atmosphere.
The track was written by Marie Dahlstrom and produced by Dan Diggas.
Marie Dahlstrom said of the song, “'Frostbite' is a song about longing and about how the feeling lingers in the body. It's drawn from many experiences in my life, all wrapped into this piece. It was recorded on my old piano at my parents' house in Roskilde, in my childhood bedroom. We tracked it with one small mic held close to the piano - nothing pro about it at all - but the instrument has this warm, muted tone that really captured the feeling. To me, this is what music is about.”- She shared on social media, “This song is about longing and drawn from many different experiences in my life, all captured in this one song. Maybe you recognise some of those feelings when you listen? Sooo happy to be sharing songs with you all again.”
