Sonny Fodera Premieres New Song “My Loving” featuring Chrystal on BBC Radio 1
London-based Australian DJ Sonny Fodera premiered a new song “My Loving” on BBC Radio 1's New Music Show with Jack Saunders.
On the track, he teamed up with British singer-songwriter Chrystal.
This marks the first collaboration between Sonny Fodera and Chrystal.
The song is follow-up to “Think About Us” withD.O.D. and Poppy Baskcomb, which was released last October.
It was written by Sonny Fodera, Chrystal, and Josh Wilkinson. Produced by Sonny Fodera.
He first performed the song at The OVO Hydro in Glasgow last November.
Sonny Fodera told Jack Saunders about the song, “First time I played it was in Glasgow, at the Hydro arena. She actually sent me the vocal online. So we didn't get we didn't make it in the studio, but I heard one of her tracks the days. I don't know if you heard that one. And I was like, 'Okay, this is fire. I need to work with her.' She sent me the vocal and produced it. And that's kind of how it came about. I think, like her voice, like, obviously, but great voice. She's incredible talent.”- He said why he moved to London from Australia, “I think it's just the scene and the culture for dance music, music in general. I feel like it's the hub, if the of the world, people say, LA, but it's London. It's all about London. And I grew up in a small city. It's like million people. It's called Adelaide in Australia. But like dance music, you don't really get, like, a lot of big artists coming there. And I moved to Melbourne, and came over to London. And I just knew this is where I wanted to be.”
