The Temper Trap Releases New Song “Into The Wild”
Australian indie-rock band The Temper Trap consisting of Dougy Mandagi (vocals/guitar), Toby Dundas (drums), Jonathon Aherne (bass) and Joseph Greer (guitar/keyboards), released a new song “Into The Wild” on February 26, 2026.
Last year, the band returned with their first new song in nine years, “Lucky Dimes”.
Followed by, they released “Giving Up Air” and performed it on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last month.
The song follows two songs and is the first single of 2026.
According to a press release, “Into The Wild” encapsulates the duality of body and mind, and the existential yearning to transcend physical limits.
The track was written by Dougy Mandagi, Joseph Greer, Jonathon Aherne, Toby Dundas, and Kaelyn Behr.
As with the previous songs “Lucky Dimes” and “Giving Up Air”, Styalz Fuego produced it.
The accompanying music video was directed by emerging Melbourne creatives Joey Clough and Edvard Hakansson, and filmed by Claire Giuffre.- The band said of the song, “After years of being apart and trying to find our groove again, 'Into the Wild' was the spark that lit the fire.”
