Anna Margo Returns With New Song “Aligned”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Anna Margo returned with a new song “Aligned” on February 20, 2026.
It is her first new music since the 2024 debut EP “If You're Still There”.
A romantic alternative R&B track built around textural synths and an edgy, emotionally rich sound.
This time, she produced the song and co-wrote it with Natalie Alice Sawicki. The track features Nicolas Dinucci on bass and Suuvi Baclear on string instrument.
The accompanying music video was directed by Daniel Carberry.
Anna Margo said of the song, “'Aligned' is about trusting your own timing and instincts, and it was me realizing that every delay, doubt, or pitfall was actually crucial to my growth. Producing the song myself was essential to its meaning, as it's very much about doing things on your own terms and letting the right doors open when they're meant to. It's the first time I fully trusted myself across every part of the process, and that confidence shaped both the sound and the message.”- She continued, “The song is also about releasing the need to be understood. It's uncomfortable having your ambitions on display, especially in a culture where no one wants to look like they're trying too hard. I don't mind being seen chasing something. I think that's brave, and I trust that it will pay off. When I sing 'you never knew me,' it doesn't come from a place of bitterness. It's clarity. All I care about now is showing up honestly, growing, and becoming an artist I can truly be proud of.”
