  • Caroline Romano Announces New EP “It Took Me Falling”, Shares New Song “Unsteady”

  • Nashville-based alt-pop singer-songwriter Caroline Roman has announced her upcoming third EP “It Took Me Falling” will be released on March 13, 2026.

The EP is her first project since the 2025 EP “How the Good Girls Die”.
From the EP, she unveiled a new song “Unsteady” on February 20, 2026.
The track is tender, simple, and sweet, built around plucky guitar and delicately vulnerable vocals.
It was written by Caroline Romano and John Dyke. Produced by John The Dropout.

Caroline Roman said of the song, “It’s a song about falling in love and letting yourself do it. I’ve learned that love has made me soft and brave and terrified and happy, and so much more myself in ways I never knew before. I wanted to capture that discovery in ‘Unsteady.'”
  • The new EP comprises 6 tracks and is a vivid snapshot of personal growth and resilience, capturing the beautiful chaos of finding yourself.

She said of the EP, “I’ve been waiting what feels like all of my life to write a project like this one, and I can't believe this collection of songs exists and is about to be out in the world. I spent most of last year quietly piecing together this story together as I lived it in real time, trying to find a concise way to tell the most expansive feeling I've ever known. In looking back one last time, just to realize you’re finally looking forward, this is what I know about the feeling. What is meant for you will find you. Sometimes it just takes falling.”
