John Summit Premieres New Song “WITH ME” featuring Julia Wolf on BBC Radio 1
American DJ John Summit premiered a new song “WITH ME” on BBC Radio 1's New Music Show with Jack Saunders on February 25, 2026.
On the track, he teamed up with American singer-songwriter Julia Wolf. This marks the first collaboration between John Summit and Julia Wolf.
The song is the third single off of his upcoming sophomore album “CTRL ESCAPE”, which is set to be released on April 15, 2026.
The album comprises 13 tracks, and he is releasing a new song every other Wednesday up until its release.
The track was written by John Walter Schuster, Julia Capello, and Nicholas Stephen Bergere. Produced by John Summit and Scro.
The accompanying music video was directed by Alex Alvga.
John Summit said of the song, “I've been a big fan of Julia's voice and indie alternative sound for a while so I asked her if she's ever been on a dance record and she said no... so I invited her to my Miami studio and we merged our sounds to make something I think is truly unique.. I really don't know what genre to call this but whatever it is there's no rules and that's what I love about dance music.”- Julia Wolf told Jack Saunders about the song, “I mean, in general, when I write, I tend to be a pretty self conscious person. So I'm usually doing it on my own. But the environment that we were in Miami, we were in John's world. And he was just so open minded about bringing both worlds together, that I felt like I was just in really good hands. I had a vision in mind and kind of just built off of that.”
She continued, “I mean, I tend to be on the more yearning, unrequited love side of things. And so as a girl who daydreams about her crushes. I tend to do that like in the backyard. I'm, like, laying out in the sun. I was trying to bring a little bit of John's, energy into it. And it's just really for the yearners.” - source : BBC Radio 1
