Yebba Announces New Album “Jean”, Shares New Song “Yellow Eyes”

American singer-songwriter Yebba has announced her upcoming sophomore album “Jean” will be released on March 6, 2026 via RCA Records.
Named after her late grandmother, the album follows her 2021 debut album “Dawn”, which was titled after her mother. Across 14 tracks, it pays tribute to the women who raised her.
From the album, she released the first single “Yellow Eyes” on February 20, 2026.
The track was written by Abigail Smith and Buddy Ross. Produced by Yebba and John Rooney.
She recorded it with Burniss Earl Travis on bass, Charles Myers on guitar, Marao Refasco on percussion, and John Rooney on mellotron.
Yebba said of the song, “I wanted to experience singing in a different way than I had before.”- She added, “I wrote this for the people who raised me, my grandmother, for the moments of sweetness I only get to keep in memory form. I miss having my people around, and growing up is in fact hard. I try to get out of the way as much as possible and make this music as well as I can, hoping at best, maybe one person won't feel so alone.”
