  • Winona Oak Releases New Song “Stay the night”

  • Swedish singer-songwriter Winona Oak released a brand new song “Stay the night” on February 20, 2026.

The song is follow-up to “Horses”, which was released last month.
Two songs will appear on her upcoming sophomore album (yet untitled), which is expected to be released in 2026 via Nettwerk.
On the track, she embraced a more organic sound with live instruments, making it more cinematic and deeply emotional.
It was written by Winona Oak, Martin Stilling, Frans Thorell, and Teodor Runsiö. Produced by Martin Stilling and Teddy Failure.
The track features Martin Stilling on piano and synthesizer, Teddy Failure on drum kit, Frans Thorell on bass, and Teodor Runsiö on drum kit.
As with the previous song, the accompanying music video was filmed by Studio Förgätmigej.
  • Winona Oak said of the song, “'Stay the Night' captures the magnetic pull of desire - the moment you allow yourself to fall again, even while carrying old bruises. With aching honesty, the song explores the tension between surrender and self-protection.”

Throughout the new album, she builds a soundscape that feels cinematic yet organic, working with collaborators Anton Engdahl, frogi, Martin Stilling, Teodor Runsiö, Frans Torell, and Tudor Davies.

She said of the album, “Its world is more organic. This is what I’ve wanted to do for a long time.”
