samxemma Announces New EP “Us Forever”, Shares New Song “SEE SEE WHERE WE GO”

Manchester-based electronic music duo samxemma, consisting of Sam Cooper (guitar/keyboards) and Emma Kirsch (vocals), has announced their upcoming EP “Us Forever” will be released March 20, 2026 via September Recordings.
The EP is their first project since the 2025 EP “HOT PEOPLE MAKE HOT MUSIC”.
From the EP, the duo released a new song “SEE SEE WHERE WE GO” onFebruary 19, 2026.
It is the third single off of the EP, following “Me forever :(” and “YOU KNOW I LOVE YOU”.
The song explores the tension between doubt and abandon, circling the familiar “let’s see where this goes” mindset while acknowledging the pull of toxic attachment.
It was written by Emma Kirsch and Samuel Cooper who also produce the track.
The band lead singer Emma Kirsch said of the song, “'SEE SEE WHERE WE GO' is actually a super self-destructive song. Staying in a toxic cycle, staying with a toxic person, ignoring the horrible things they do to you because you’re too embarrassed to break up with them because you’ve already put effort in the relationship. Classic. It’s like that glimmer of hope every time they do something near the bare minimum. Feeling like a fucking idiot. Not being able to see the truth in front of you. Only realising the truth years after.”- She added, “Also being attracted to losers and loving the loser tendencies like 'ya you’re so hot for hating yourself and everything around you it’s definitely not fake and weird as fuck and you definitely don’t need therapy'. But also you can ignore all that and it’s like yay let’s see where we go in life.”
The new EP comprises 5 tracks, produced by Sam Cooper.
Written across different headspaces and timelines, the project captures a spectrum of impulses - post-show comedowns, self-image struggles, lingering relationship fallout, and moments of defiant self-reclamation.
It is like a synthesis of their previous work, marrying EDM-driven production with pop-first songwriting. -
The duo said of the EP, “To be fully transparent this wasn’t supposed to be an EP, we were gonna do 5 singles and didn’t put an EP together until after 'Me forever:(' was released. We swapped out two songs for the remaining two tracks on the project. Everything kind of fell into place with this one. Cami’s comment being the biggest inspiration. This is an EP about hope and doubt constantly fighting each other in our brains. The excitement and fear that comes with being us forever, “stuck” in these bodies with these memories we’ve gathered so far. The cover is fucking sick, we wanted to be very literal with 'Us Forever'.”
