Erika Vikman Returns With New Song “FATHER (I Will Never Confess)”
Finnish singer-songwriter Erika Vikman returned with a new song “FATHER (I Will Never Confess)” on February 20, 2026.
The song is her first solo music since “ICH KOMME”, which was Finland's representative song at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025.
As the single, the song is the follow-up to the collaborative song “APPETITE” with Go-Jo, which was released last October.
Also, it is her first English-language single.
The track was written by Andreas Lindbergh, Linnea Deb, and Joy Deb, who also produced it.
Erika Vikman said of the song, “The past years has been very tough on my mental health. I felt like my mind was broken I was scared and unwell. I realized and accepted that I might truly be crazy. This song is about that acceptance. I hope we can celebrate our mental struggles and our unique madness together through this song.”- She will perform the song at the Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2026 on February 28, 2026.
Last year, she won this music contest with “ICH KOMME”.
She said, “It is a great honour, and truly moving, to return to the UMK stage one more time. With this performance, I want to thank UMK and the incredible community that has formed around it, which over the years helped shape me into the artist I am today.
