Talia Mar Releases New Song “Suit & Tie”
London-based singer-songwriter Talia Mar returned with a new song “Suit & Tie” on February 20, 2026.
The song marks her first single of 2026 and her first release since giving birth.
Also, the track is the fourth single as an independent artist, following “365”, “ENEMY.”, and “Letter to an idiot...”.
“Suit & Tie” is a pop song with an R&B edge that captures someone trying to recover from a toxic relationship.
It was written by Talia Mar, George Morgan, and James Birt, who also produced the track.
The accompanying music video was co-directed by Gee Nelson and Talia Mar.
Talia Mar said of the song, “I feel like it's been so long since I've released a song where I really get to sing so I'm so excited that 'Suit & Tie' is finally here. It really sets the tone for what's coming up.”- Talia Mar told CultedXO about the song, “I wrote this song a few years ago and at the time, it was written about someone in my team who was senior to me. I started noticing that whilst I was trying everything I could do to make that relationship work, they were doing everything they could to tear and break me down. They presented themselves as this almighty person and no one else was at fault.”

She continued, “Since coming out of that, I have realised that that type of relationship has been lived by so many friends or different people I have met in my life, I feel like everyone has had that relationship where they feel like they're the only one trying. By the time the other person tries, it's just too late. Whilst the song wasn't written about a romantic relationship, I did twist it and present it as that because I think that's what most people experience.” - source : Apple Music
