New Constellations Releases New Song “Dandelion”

Portland-based indie-pop duo New Constellations, consisting of Harlee Case (vocals) and Josh Smith (multi-instrumentalist), released the fourth single called “Dandelion” from their upcoming debut album “It Comes in Waves” on February 20, 2026.
The album is set to be released on May 15, 2026 via Nettwerk.
“Dandelion” drifts between buoyant, synth-forward pop and aching vocals, crafting an introspective song about love tested by doubt and emotional distance.
The song is accompanied by a music video, which was directed by Cameron Browne, who created a technicolor, dreamscape-inspired visual.
It was written and produced by Harlee Case and Joshua Smith.- The band lead singe Harlee Case said of the song, “Dandelion is a tender, introspective song about love tested by doubt and emotional distance. The quiet push and pull between trust and self-protection. It captures the fragile moment when two people consciously separate yet remain deeply connected, holding space for vulnerability, longing, and the hope that love can still find its way back.”

The debut album comprises 13 tracks, featuring a guest appearance from Night Heron, produced by New Constellations.
It is a document of growth, personal, creative, and relational, tracing the evolution of two Oregon teenagers recording songs in a childhood bedroom into one of indie pop’s most emotionally resonant partnerships.
