Jorja Smith Releases New Song “Don't Leave”
British singer-songwriter Jorja Smith released a new song “Don't Leave” to celebrate the 10th anniversary of her debut on February 20, 2026 via FAMM.
She wrote the song at the same time as her debut single “Blue Lights”.
Last month, she unveiled three unreleased demos as “Demo Dump '16”, including “Don't Leave”, on SoundCloud and asked fans to choose their favorites.
Finally, fans chose “Don’t Leave” as the song they wanted to hear in full.
The track was written by Jorja Smith, Adam Nadeem Jordan, and Michael Stafford. Produced by New Machine.
Jorja Smith said, “Ten years of releasing music independently with FAMM. Nothing but pure love and care in what we do. I’m so proud of us and what we’ve been doing so here’s young J with a little demo dump for you. Songs I wrote the same time as Blue Lights but never finished... they’re on my Soundcloud.”- She shared, “Ten years since I dropped Blue Lights. Ten years since I went and got my nails done with Ulla in Penge and uploaded Blue Lights on Soundcloud with no clue, just pure excitement. Refreshing the page, seeing the shares and the love that i couldn’t believe. Ten years since I went to Shan and Shidi’s and listened to my first ever play on radio!!! Ten years of you giving me your love and endless support and I hope you’ve been feeling it all right back. We’ve all been growing up together it’s crazy. 13 years since I wrote it, the song that started everything and I’m still here today because of you all. U lot keep me going I swear on my lifeeee. I love you all so much, still only feels like the beginning. So here’s to ten years and another ten years and so on. I am just so grateful for everything, for the highs and lows, everything makes sense even when it don’t. The journey has been a mad one so thank you all again. So let’s keep going and shining.”
