Calum Scott & Aitch Team Up for New Version of “Unsteady”
British singer-songwriter Calum Scott teamed up with Manchester-based rapper Aitch to release a reimagined version of “Unsteady” on February 20, 2026.
This marks the first collaboration between Calum Scott and Aitch.
Original version of the song is featured on Calum Scott's third studio album “Avenoir”, which was released last September.
The collaboration came when Calum Scott saw a video of Aitch’s sister Gracie, singing his 2017 song “You Are the Reason” on social media.
The track was written by Calum Scott, Charlie Martin, Joe Housley, Jon Maguire, and Harrison Armstrong. Produced by The Nocturns, Jon 'MAGS' Maguire, and Callum James.- Calum Scott said of the song, “Our collaboration came about so organically. I saw a post of Aitch’s sister, Gracie, singing ‘You Are the Reason’ and sent a thank you video to Aitch to pass on and she was buzzing with it! Aitch and I started chatting and we said we should collab so we got in a studio. I showed him ‘Unsteady’ before it was released and he was like ‘give me an hour’. Aitch is a great guy with an amazing talent who has brought a completely new dynamic to the song whilst keeping the message sincere.”
