  • Shjaane Glover Returns With New Song “Effervescence”

  • Canadian singer-songwriter Shjaane Glover returned with a new song “Effervescence” on February 13, 2026.

The song is his first music in eight years and is the first single off of his upcoming 6-track EP “Conjure This”.
The track captures a pivotal moment of transition, dwelling in the in-between space between doubt and hope, blending his robust vocals with soft, reverb-drenched guitar melodies to create what he describes as a modern narrative of individuality.
It was written and produced by Shjaane Glover, with production by Craig Smith.
The track features Nelson Beattie on saxophone and Jenna Applewhaite on drums.

Shjaane Glover said of the song, “Shaped by dents and worn edges, Effervesence is a song about learning how to live inside the shift. It moves through the quiet tension between doubt and hope, between bending and breaking, between running and standing still. This is a story about choosing to face the world honestly, even when everything feels like it is changing faster than you can keep up with.”
  • The accompanying music video was directed by Shjaane Glover himself.
He said of the video, “We shot this at a place that feels like home to me. The singer-songwriter in me wanted to keep it stripped back and simple and the photographer in me wanted to play a bit. We tried a few things. Some worked better than expected. Some surprised us. Grateful to collaborate with my brother Dylan on this!”
