Konradsen Announces New Album “Hunt, Gather”, Shares New Song “What I Aim For” featuring Angie McMahon

Norwegian musical duo Konradsen, consisting of Jenny Marie Sabel (vocals/piano) and Eirik Vildgren (multi-instrumentalist), has announced their upcoming third studio album “Hunt, Gather” will be released on March 27, 2026 via 777 Music.
It is their first album in two years, following the 2022 album “Michael's Book on Bears”.
From the album, the duo released a new song “What I Aim For” on February 18, 2026.
On the track, the duo teamed up with Australian singer-songwriter Angie McMahon, while American singer-songwriter and pianist Bruce Hornsby co-wrote it and played piano.
The song centres on making space for calm, trust and connection amid the constant noise of everyday life. A reminder to pause, zoom out and recalibrate when life feels overwhelming, inspired by the idea of home as a place where one can gather strength and feel safe.
The track was written by Angie McMahon, Jenny Marie Sabel, Bruce Hornsby, Eirik Vildgren, Ivar Myrset Asheim, Hans Olav Settem, and Marit Othilie Thorvik. Produced by Jenny Marie Sabel, Eirik Vildgren, Hans Olav Settem, and Marit Othilie Thorvik.- Angie McMahon said of the song, “Last time I was writing a record, I listened to 'Baby Hallelujah' by Konradsen on repeat. Now, a couple of years down the line, they're my friends. I got to hear their music on tour many nights in a row, and now I love it even more. I wear Konradsen merch on my head half the time. So while I'm now making my next record, they sent me the one they're making and offered to let me sing on one of their songs. The highest honour! This song makes me feel tapped into some deeper realm of inner peace which is only accessible through good music. I'm so proud of my friends.”

The new album comprises 10 tracks, featuring guest appearances from Beharie, Gia Margaret, and Angie McMahon.
The duo said of the album, “We spent the last couple of years making this record with our producers Marit Othilie Thorvik & Hans Olav Settem and our bandmates Ivar Myrset Asheim and Erlend Vesteraas in various parts of the country. From makeshift studios in small village living rooms filled with toys, wood stove, while kids and roosters scratch the door. To Marit and Hans Olav's cozy loft studio in the city we love.”
They continued, “Many hours have gone into making this album in between saunas, swimming, running around Oslo and eating Eirik's way too spicy ramen. These memories are always what an album leaves behind. The mood, the moments and the people that contribute. We hope you get to feel a part of that everyday glimpses of joy and chaos and add your own memories to it while listening.”
