  • The Flatliners Announces New Album “Cold World”, Shares New Song “Good, You?”

  • Canadian punk rock band The Flatliners, consisting of Chris Cresswell (vocals/guitar), Scott Brigham (guitar), Jon Darbey (bass) and Paul Ramirez (drums), has announced their upcoming seventh studio album “Cold World” will be released on May 8, 2026 via Rude Records/Equal Vision Records/Dine Alone Records.

It is their first album in four years, following the 2022 album “New Ruin”.
While the previous album was preoccupied with the inherited damage of the last generation, the new album sees that legacy as a ghost and a fading memory.
The album comprises 12 tracks, produced by Chris Cresswell and The Flatliners.
From the album, the band released the first single called “Good, You?” on February 17, 2026.
The track explores toxic masculinity and the irrational fear we all share of talking about our feelings.
It was written by Chris Cresswell, Scott Brigham, Jon Darbey, and Paul Ramirez. Produced by by Chris Cresswell and The Flatliners.
The accompanying music video was directed by Jeff Powers.
  • The band said of the video, “We wanted to pay homage to the greatest era of music videos we have ever known — the one we grew up in. Our aim was to make a ‘90s-style video, portraying the album artwork in all its glory; to bring things back to a time where you could suspend disbelief and just let your eyes and ears devour those next three minutes. With the help of our amazing cast and crew, we achieved just that. A piece of nowstalgia that feels like it has a strong foot in the past, and another firmly planted in the present.”
