Wings of Desire Releases New Song “Nothing Left To Give”
British indie rock duo Wings of Desire, consisting of James Taylor (guitars/bass/keyboards) and Chloe Little (keyboards/vocals), released a new song “Nothing Left To Give” on February 17, 2026.
The song is the follow-up to “Whisper”, which was released last month.
Both songs will appear on their upcoming sophomore album “Stand Still Like The Hummingbird”, which is set to be released on December 9, 2026.
The album is their first full-length record in three years, following the 2023 debut album “Life Is Infinite”
The duo will release a new song on each new moon of the 2026 lunar calendar until the release of the album.
The track was written and produced by James Taylor. The accompanying music video was directed by Amber Little.
The duo said of the song, “Modernity has long demanded a channelling of human energies and emotions into patterns that are moulded by economic and disciplinary requirements. Some days we feel like we have nothing left to give, but we keep on pushing.”- The duo said of releasing a track on each new moon of the 2026 lunar calendar, “To stand still in an ever changing cultural landscape and an increasingly chaotic world is a theme running through our latest collection of hymns. We will be releasing a track on each new moon for the duration of the 2026 lunar calendar. To get back in tune with the rhythm of the earth and natural cycles of time. Everyday is a ritual, and every moment presents us with lore and wonder. for eyes that see. and ears that hear. Stand still like the hummingbird.”
