Lana Del Rey Releases New Song “White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter”

American singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey is back. She released a new song “White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter” on February 17, 2026.
The song will appear on her upcoming tenth studio album “Stove”, which expected to be released in May 2026 (three months later).
Initially titled “Lasso”, the album was scheduled for release in September 2024. But she later changed the title to “The Right Person Will Stay”, which was set to be released on May 21, 2025. In August 2025, she pushed the release back again. Finally, the album was titled “Stove”.
She co-wrote the song with her husband Jeremy Dufrene, her sister Chuck Grant, brother-in-law Jason Pickens, producers Jack Antonoff, and Drew Erickson, alongside Johnny Mercer and David Raksin.
The track features Jack Antonoff (drum kit/bass/electric guitar/acoustic guitar/keyboards), Drew Erickson (percussion/piano/harp/celesta), Andrew Bulbrook (violin), Xenia Deviatkina (violin), Zach Dellinger (violin), Christine Kim (cello), Wayne Bergeron (trumpet), Steve Holtman (trombone), Dan Higgins (clarinet), Mark Hollingsworth (flute), Tristan Capel (flute), and Sean Franz (oboe).
She has already filmed a music video for the song, which is coming soon.- Lana Del Rey said of the song, “I just wanted to make a little message and let you know that my new single and my favorite song, this is the one I've been waiting for, 'White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter' is coming out on the 17th. And I know you're asking about the record, but honestly soon, because vinyl takes three months. So three months plus two weeks. And I mean, it could be give or take a little bit less than that. But aside from that, I really want you to focus on the single. I'm really happy about it, finally going to be out. And did the strings that I love the production with Drew Erickson, Dean Reid mixed it. Laura Sisk mixed it a little bit as well. And Jack Antonoff and I did it together. Finally found that magical chord that I was missing. Also my brother in law, Jason Pickens, my sister Chuck Grant and Jeremy wrote it with me as well, kind of like half. There's just so many bits and like phrases thrown in by other people. So and we made the video, like just ourselves and but still it takes hours and hours of editing and downloading, uploading, all that.”
