Twenty One Pilots Releases New Song “Drag Path”
American alt-rock duo Twenty One Pilots, consisting of Tyler Joseph (vocals/keyboards) and Josh Dun (drums), released a new song “Drag Path” on February 17, 2026.
Originally, the song was featured on “Breach: Digital Remains” as an exclusive bonus track, a limited-edition expansion of the 2025 album “Breach”, available for one week only. It was previously unavailable for streaming.
This time, the band has officially released it in a slightly different edit.
The track was written by Tyler Joseph. Produced by Tyler Joseph and Paul Meany.
The accompanying music video was directed by Tobias Gundorff Boesen. It was inspired by Tobias Gundorff Boesen's short film from over a decade ago.- The band frontman Tyler Joseph said of the song, “We have not wanted to release 'Drag Path' officially, because we want to respect those who purchased it back when the album was being released. So that's why we waited. But now we want to release it. What we're going to do is we're going to release it with a slightly different edit to it, so that those who bought it have a more original version of it. So the official released version is going to be a little bit different, structurally. Most of it's intact, but I wanted to save something special for those that purchased it originally. There's a music video that comes out with it that I absolutely adore, and I hope that you do too. And we're in our rehearsal space now working on maybe playing this song live this year.”
