METTE Returns With New Song “ANXIOUS TO LOVE YOU”
Los Angeles-based dancer and singer-songwriter METTE returned with “ANXIOUS TO LOVE YOU” on February 13, 2026.
The song is her first release since 2024 single “MUSCLE”.
She has teased the song since last August on social media and shared, “Some days I write to let go, some days to find myself. Music is everything, dance is everything else, & it’s twirling on marley floors where I become one with my song... lately it’s all about independence and yearning...”
The track was written by Nick Lopez, Mette Towley, and Elijah Hill. Produced by METTE and VADAKIN.
The accompanying music video was directed by Andre Muir.- METTE said of the song, “This is my first release since 2024 and I’m feeling vulnerable, excited, anxious, and proud. The start of my new era comes from the truest place in my heart.”
She continued, “Wrote this when I was anxious to love again… I’m often anxious to begin again, but tend to push through because every good thing that’s ever happened in my life has always been on the other side.”
She added, “Listen to the song I wrote for yearning sake & watch me dance for my life.” -
