Alex Sampson Releases New Song “Not Even Gone”
Canadian singer-songwriter Alex Sampson released a new song “Not Even Gone” via Warner Records.
The song will appear on his upcoming debut album, which is expected to be released this summer.
On the track, he captures the quiet heartbreak of missing someone before they’ve even left. The track explores that in-between moment when you still have someone close, yet can already feel them slipping away, whether through a breakup, distance, or loss.
It was written by Alex Sampson, Castle, Nolan Sipe, and David Pramik, who also produced the track.
The accompanying music video was directed by Pokey Spears.- Alex Sampson said of the song, “'Not Even Gone' is such a special song to me. It’s not just a song about missing someone, it’s missing them before they’re gone. It’s inspired by that feeling when you know you’re going to lose them whether it’s a breakup, death or simply leaving for a while, you still have them in that moment.”
He added, “I hope you guys love it half as much as I do! Thank you for being so patient with me as I continue to write and figure out who I am as an artist.” -
Alex Sampson kicked off his headline tour “Thank You For Loving Me Tour” on February 6, 2026, with a total of 27 shows. The tour will conclude at Bella Concert Hall in Calgary, AB on March 22, 2026.
