Slowe Returns With New Song “How Hard Can It Be”

Bristol-based singer-songwriter Slowe returned with a new song “How Hard Can It Be” on February 10, 2026.
The song is her first music in three years, following the 2023 debut album “Where The Mind Wanders”.
She co-wrote and co-produced the song with Laurence Fazakerley Buglass.
The track marks the first time Slowe has recorded a full band live in the studio.
It’s built around swirling chords, lilting drum grooves, and her signature ethereal vocals, capturing the quiet frustration of overthinking and the tug-of-war between self-belief and doubt.
Slowe said of the song, “'I know it's a part of me but how hard can it be?' sums up my feelings around dealing with anxiety. I know it's something I deal with and live with, and most of the time I can manage, but sometimes you can't help but ask yourself, how hard can it be to just be 'normal?!”- She continued, “I wrote this song back in 2023!! It was one of the first things I wrote after finishing my first album, and was one of those songs that I really felt like I had to write to get through something. Anyone that knows me well knows that I’ve had struggles with anxiety for years, something greatly exacerbated by the pandemic (spoiler alert not leaving the house for a year will increase hermit tendencies lol) It culminated in me feeling unable to do things that should be simple, things that should be fun, and things that I want to do. My brain would get in the way, and I’d just think to myself, how hard can it be? Somehow these feelings and frustrations turned into this song.”
