Kira Lise Releases New Song “Ignorance Is Bliss”
American singer-songwriter Kira Lise released a new song “Ignorance Is Bliss” on February 9, 2026.
The song is the first single of 2026 and recently won a major music competition in partnership with iHeartRadio and TikTok LIVE.
Written during a period of intense anxiety, the song emerged as a raw cry for help and is one of her most powerful releases to date.
The track was written by Kira Lise and produced by Emmanuel Ventura-Cruess.
Kira Lise said of the song, “Whenever I have a moment to connect with my emotions, great art happens - like this song. 'Ignorance Is Bliss' is full of bold instrumental moments, inspired by artists like Radiohead, Billie Eilish, and other alternative musicians. EMÆL adds his unique touch as a cellist, and Dan Adams’ violin elevated the track even further, giving it depth and richness.”- She added, “I think I am putting out my most vulnerable song yet. It's called 'Ignorance Is Bliss'. It's basically about ignoring your own feelings, things that are happening to you, ignoring your anxiety and burdening yourself by keeping it to yourself. I hope that it brings you peace like it does to me when I have moments where I just kind of burst out and feel. I feel like we need more music like that more than ever.”
