Michael Aldag Releases New Song “Chase”
Liverpool-based singer-songwriter Michael Aldag released a new song “Chase” on February 5, 2026.
The song follows “Superstar” and “Hell”. Three songs will appear on his upcoming sophomore album “The Carousel”, which is set to be released on March 26, 2026 via Humming Records.
Michael Aldag co-wrote the song with producer Robin Stjernberg.
As with previous songs “Superstar” and “Hell”, the accompanying animated lyrics video was created by Keira Repp.
Michael Aldag shared, “When you turn 24 years old, people start asking you stupid questions like: 'Have you found anyone you wanna settle down with yet?' No, I never been in love with someone for more than two weeks plus there's loads of club I haven't been yet. 'I stumble to strangers in dirty clubs / Love is a fight then I'm giving up / I swear it was there in the air when I asked you name / I was high on the chase.' I really just want someone to love me. For those who are romantically unavailable, 'Chase' out now.”
He added, “AGAIN again shoutout to the absolute goat Keira Repp for making this incredible video. i had completely nothing to do with it apart from making the song. All praise to her.”- The new album comprises 12 tracks, including 5 songs from the 2025 EP “Crying in the Club”.
All songs were written by Michael Aldag and producer Robin Stjernberg.
It is his first album in two years, following the 2024 debut album “sorry for everything”. - source : Apple Music
