Tessa Violet Releases New Song “I Love Being Wrong”
American singer-songwriter Tessa Violet released a new song “I Love Being Wrong” on February 3, 2026.
The song is the second single off of her upcoming third studio album “There Will Be Joy”, which is expected to be released later this year.
She plans to release a new song each month until the album is released.
The track is a follow up to her earliest release “Make Me A Robot” when she was still mostly known as Meekakitty.
It was written by Tessa Violet Williams and Brye Sebring, who also produced the track, featuring Mike Avenaim on drums, Bow & Aero on strings, and Solomon Olds on backing vocals.
Tessa Violet said of the song, “The much anticipated follow up to my song 'Make Me A Robot'
Can't believe this song is out in the world now. If you have the bandwidth I recommend the best listen as being the music video which is live on youtube now (imagine me weeping as I edited it). A retrospective of my whole life so far!”- She continued, “Beyond grateful to my dear friend Brye, we wrote this together and i think it may be my favorite song of mine so far. Brye, I love collaborating with you. We channel magic when we're together and I love getting to learn from you. Something fun about Brye, sometimes we'll be going back and forth about a creative choice and i'll say 'do you think this is the right tempo? Maybe it should be faster/slower' and Brye will turn to me and go 'I don't think there's a right or wrong answer here, it's just what feels best to you.' What a great lesson for me to learn!!”
