  • Maisie Peters Announces New Album “Florescence”, Shares New Song “My Regards”

  • British singer-songwriter Maisie Peters has announced her upcoming third studio album “Florescence” will be released on May 15, 2026.

It is her first album in three years, following the 2023 album “The Good Witch”.
From the album, she unveiled a new song “My Regards” on February 6, 2026.
The song follows “You You You”, “Audrey Hepburn”, and “Say My Name In Your Sleep”.
Maisie Peters co-wrote the song with Nick Lobel and co-produced with Ian Fitchuk.
The track features Doug Showalter on Keyboards, Ian Fitchuk on bass, Nick Lobel on drums, and Peter Groenwald on backing vocals.

Maisie Peters said of the song, “'My Regards' feels powerful, tongue in cheek, sexy and funny, all of which I feel are parts of myself I hadn't really gotten to explore much musically up until this album! I was inspired by a lot of the country greats and their 'stand by your man songs', and so I thought I'd write my own modern day version; however in this song I get to play the role of fierce protector instead of simpering love interest, which is so often how women have been depicted in relationships throughout history.”
  • The accompanying music video was directed by Amelia Dimoldenberg, featuring American actor Benito Skinner.

Maisie Peters said of the video, “The music video is my favourite ive ever made; Benny was my dream heartthrob, Amelia the perfect director, and the giggles that were had on this set were so loud I cannot explain. thank you to everyone who made this Grand Budapest Hotel, Mr. Bean the Bodyguard inspired fever dream with me, what a joy it is to make stuff w the best team ever.”

Director Amelia Dimoldenberg added, “Directing this music video for Maisie has been an absolute joy. From the moment I heard the track, I knew we had to lean into her gift for storytelling. I thought it would be interesting to subvert the 'possessive girlfriend' trope by making Maisie a literal bodyguard. It felt like a fun way to heighten the narrative.”

  • The new album comprises 15 tracks, featuring guest appearances from Julia Michaels and Marcus Mumford, produced by Maisie Peters, Alysa Vanderheym, Ian Fitchuk, Joe Rubel, Marcus Mumford and Nick Lobel.

Maisie Peters said of the album, “Florescence means 'the process of flowering/ of developing richly and fully' and to me, this album describes exactly that. These fifteen songs depict a blossoming, a journey into true love that stretches across years, across countries and stages and stars, and leads us into the present moment, 25 years old and ready to share with you this next offering, held out like a peach in my hand.”

She continued, “This album to me centers hope as a force of strength; I hope it feels like sun streaming in through your window after a winter that felt eternal. There is sadness in the music, but also a knowingness that you must live through rains and storms to grow, to change, to heal, and to thrive. this is my story of the last few years, my life weaved like silk into the words that you'll hear in these songs, and I hope you love them just as much as I do.”

She added, “I'm especially excited to have my first ever collaborations on a record of mine!!! Marcus Mumford and Julia Michaels are two of my total musician and songwriting heroes, getting to write and record 'If You Let Me' with Marcus and 'Kingmaker' with Julia was a dream come true, I cannot wait for you guys to hear them honestly....”
